Nintendo DS

The Nintendo DS is another great video game system from Nintendo. It's a smaller hand held device and this makes it very portable. Nintendo has also been producing a lot of interesting games that are perfect for seniors. Many of the games they produce have to do with puzzles and brain games that help to exercise the mind. These kinds of brain exercises can help to ward off Alzheimer's and other mental ailments. The only draw back for this device is the size of the screen. The screen may be too small for seniors with impaired vision. In these cases I would recommend purchasing a Nintendo Wii instead since it works with the TV.
