All of the iPods made by Apple make use of modern styling and minimal design. There is potential for these devices to be used by seniors, but for now the jury is still out on iPods.

The standard iPods can be purchased with either 30GBs or 80GBs of space. These devices can store a myriad of content types. Store photos, TV shoes, podcasts, vidcasts, audio books, videos, and more. iPods are a great way to keep all of your digital media in one place. The specific features of the standard iPod are:

  • Holds as many as 25,000 iPod-viewable photos
  • Holds as many as 40 hours (30GB) or up to 100 hours (80GB) of video4
  • Stores data via USB hard drive

For visually-imppaired: Display is too small and contrast on play icons too low.
For arthritic/PD/MS: device too slim, difficult to grasp also touch-screen might not give enough tactile feedback.
