About
The goal for TouchBrite is to put seniors in touch with technology. Computers and the Internet can make life more interesting and entertaining. Many seniors either do not have the means or the information needed to take advantage of the benefits today's technological advancements.
TouchBrite attempts to solve this problem by doing research on great products and technology solutions for seniors and also encouraging community participation.
Original Research
At TouchBrite we are not simply asking for answers without ever doing any research of our own. We spend a lot of time to try to populate the site with helpful information and products that are suitable for the needs of seniors. In addition to this primary research, we also like to see people who have experience with the issues and products presented to participate in the learning.

The TouchBrite Community and How You Can Help
There are several ways that users can participate and add their experience and knowledge to help make TouchBrite a better resource for everyone.
Users can participate by:
- Creating an Account: To participate in the community, users need to create a profile. TouchBrite does not share your information with third parties.
- Adding Comments: Most of the pages of the site have a link that says "Add Comments" at the bottom. If you are logged in you can leave feedback at the bottom of a page. This feedback can be in the form of additional information about a subject, constructive critisim or a great idea you may have.
- Adding Ratings: Some of the individual product pages have yellow or red starts that represent how users have voted on a product. The more stars shown, the better. Many category pages on the site are sorted by how many stars the products in that category have. You can give a product you have used a rating as well.
- Adding a Review: Many products and software also allow you to leave a review. This is where you can either praise or criticize a given product.
- Writing an Article: If you have some knowledge about a product or an idea you would like to share, let us know about it. We are more than willing to publish quality articles written by our users.
